Problem with aion and windows 7

Hi, i recently updated my windows to windows 7 64 bit, and reinstalled aion ( from the ncsoft launcher).I just noticed that gamezaion updated to the last version, so i didnt worry about backuping my aion.Heres the prob: when i start aion, the ncsoft logo doesnt show up and when it enters to the login screen, i see just the part to type the id and pass and a blackscreen in the rest of the screen.it also doesnt have sound.I googled for some solutions and i found smth about directx, i already reinstalled directx ( i got directx11) and nothing happened.please, i need some help .

p.s: i downloaded the new gamezaion launcher also.

Try Installing Graphic Card Drivers ^^ or reinstalling...

Also Make sure your Video card Supports Direct x 11

 

i already reinstalled my graphic card drivers ( a gefore 310m) and i just accoplished to make appear the ncsoft logo, but it still appears the blacksreen like the pic i posted .... help please!!!=(

 

Try Increasing your brightness in graphic settings .. or it may just be a currect problem with 310m series and driver :x are u still able to log in?

 

maybe its something with directx 11??? how to run aion from directx 9 ??

 

dude try to update your directx... dx11 is not supported with aion yet....

 

Go to your Short Cut Click Properties Then Target then enter "C:\Program Files (x86)\NCSoft\Aion\GamezAion.exe" -dx9 <--- make sure to use that Space Between " - now wether this will work since its not a direct link idk :x

also Dx11 Contains Dx9 ^^

I had a similar problem (i am also running w7 64 bit with dx11), although my screen stayed completely black after showing 1st picture.

After a few attempts i pressed ENTER while i had that black screen and while i activate the taskmanager to end Aion i noticed there was an errormessages (which i didnt see in my earlier attempts). The errormessage was saying i had to remove 1 file: d3dx9....dll (i forgot exact name), which i did.

After that the black screen was gone and i was able to enter my name + password. But i still couldnt enter the server because i got another error saying that there were no authorisation servers found (error# 6).

I was able to fix that last error by redownloading & reinstalling the gamezaion launcher...

I can play now (only tried Lumiel)

 

i tried the shortcut trick, already updated directx with the link nametaken gave me, and also checked if i had error messages, ( and i dont have any). WTF can i do help please t_t

btw, how do i manage the memory between graphic card and normal ram??? in dxdiag it says my graphic card has 2248mb ram, maybe its takin too much ram of my notebook( it has 4gb of ram) how do i lower this amount?.

 

The graphics card RAM and your notebooks RAM has nothing to do with each other. The card has it's own RAM on itself. your notebook tho has RAM and virtual RAM (which by default is 1.5x to 2x the RAM of your notebook).
problem shouldn't be there.

the problem might be that you are running a 32bit program under a 64bit system.

Un-install DX and reinstall dx10...

Indeed. Dunno why, but today I fail at my own language haha.

go into control panel, software and uninstall it there o.o


start -> run -> regedit

HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\Software\Microsoft\DirectXdelete the entry, reboot, install

 

omg, this is gettin more and more complicated, there isnt a directx 10 for windows 7!!! where the *** to get it??
