spiderman shattered dimmensions a little help pls

ok i just bought the game and i play it on pc with my xbox 360 controler but when i try to hit jump etc it wont why i can move but it wont jump than i hold the A buttom nothing hppens i try space bar and nothing and than it jumps once

 

your lucky u didnt have the red ring of DEATH >.<
