    i had ~10 runs to triroan already and i haven't seen a staff (and sword)...always warhammers, greatswords, orbs, spears, and the misc.

    It does , I had the same luck when I hunted for the Spear , always received Bow / dagger / Greatsword etc ... Don't give up ^^
