What is music to me? I'm not going to say something like "music makes me cry" because that kind of drama disgusts me. I love music though, metal that is.

How did I get into it? I'll show you...

I was watching a TV-docu about a true genius; Johnny Cash.

Beautiful song which he covered from a band called Nine Inch Nails. I ended up searching that band up and found a video of Nine Inch Nails and a band called Tool doing something live together. I thought Tool sounded very interesting and I ended up searching them up.

I literally listening the absolute living shit out of this band, I still do. It's very good. A friend of mine noticed that I was listening to tool and he was surprised. He likes heavy music as well and recommended me a guy called Devin Townsend.

I loved it. I found out that Devin Townsend is also in a band besides his solo stuff; A band called Strapping Young Lad. I remember reading that it was very heavy, however, I did not expect it to be like this.

And loud it was! At first I did not like it, but after listening to it a bit more I ended up loving it even more than all the other stuff I have ever listened to before! It's saddening that this band no longer exists.

From here on I ended up listening to all kinds of metal and still do nowadays.

That's my little story! I hope you listen to Metal too now because it simply is the best genre! You just don't know it yet.

    Cheers~
