Traps/Snares on flight teleports allowed?

I apparently posted this in the wrong section before, maybe it will belong here.

This may have been answered before, but I thought I should ask anyways. For the last good while there has been this Elyos namened Chelios that has been taking down everyone at the end flight drop off at Red Mane Cavern. What he's doing is setting multiple trabs and snares that is catching us before we actually land, making it impossible to fight back. It's obviously a bug or an exploit.

i think its a good technique for killing other players. . .

 

I think its allowed, now that spawn protection is fixed. You can stand still and wait for the traps to go away

 

You cant stand still. It is in a large city like area filled with elite guards. The traps and snares were on the flight path, so before i got to the end it snagged me and stuck me in the air as the screen shot shows. He was also flying in this area, although every time I've been to that area I could never fly in it, always gave me the same old 'cannot fly in this area' notice.

Not sure if it's a bug or what, but those traps/snares lock you in place because i guess you technically don't land from the flight transportation. Your basically helpless.
