Strange Lag Problem

First of all Hi, i'm new here...me and a friend wanted to try Aion, found you

anw...We both entered, works perfectly for him, for Me...well...it's like i'm stuck in a Constant lag...as soon as i login...nobody moves, i can't talk, mobs are moonwalking...like im downloading a 1080p porno ... any idea? D:


No, i'm not downloading anything...high FPS...all seems fine D: ...but it's not :andy: :bandit:

 

Try checking your Latency with /ping command ingame.

You might want to use some programs that lower your ping aswell, Like Leatrix Latency Fix, etc.

 

Awesome Latency of > 5sec xD ...the script helped, i saw people move and talk a bit...but then DCed cause it lagged too much...
Where is the server located? ...i'd have to be in Space for such a high ping >.>

well you probably live very far..
the server is located in the US.. cant tel u where exactly tho..
try this - it's a pain but i do it too whenever i wanna play ( got a high ping like yours)
log into your account and get to the character selection page, wait for around 6-7 min and then enter your character, this should do it.

also, you will not get such high ping in other servers no matter where they are located, because gamez server isnt that stable and strong..
is your friend living where you do? cuz it's wierd then, why you lag and he doesnt

 

Yeah, US is a bit far...but nevertheless, i play MW2 with USA players, and if you can play MW2 u can play Aion...in theory.

its not just about their location but about their internet connection as well im also using the laetrix latency fix, cut my ping in half but yeah gamez is a rather laggy server. still im in the middle of europe and have a ping of 170 or so which shouldnt be so bad, can still feel the lagg though

btw if u wanna lower ur ping further u can try battleping, although its become a paid program, monthly fees too >.>
