Kinect used on WoW

I know a lot of you aren't really fans of WoW and all but you should check out this video, this might be how gaming becomes in a few years :O

Basically someone is using a Microsoft Kinect motion sensor camera to control their character in WoW, you don't need to know WoW or the spells or anything like that to understand whats going on, its just cool watching how the guy is sitting there controlling the game pretty well with hand motions on a game that was never made to be used with the Microsoft Kinect.

 

That right dar is pretty krazy.

i guess there doing this because gamers are always sitting down, and this way they can still game and be exercising aha.

 

Interesting, wonder when they're gonna come out with the full VR and holodecks.

 

I don't have a kinect motion sensor thing so I wouldn't be able to try but I wonder if someone would actually be able to set it up like they have it in that video with the downloadable software they have.

 

Yea so that gamers won't have their a** become flat anymore lol.

To just be able to wear a helmet and go to sleep or somthing.. and then end up in the game as ur toon.

That would be awesome. It reminds me of the dot hack anime where everyone does that.

Honestly, I doubt it'll be long before we do have helmets, suits with sensors on them or something, holodecks, etc.

I mean they already kindof do the suit thing in movies for CGI

Still, the question is how expensive it will be to buy or even just use that kind of equipment.

 

We're getting there but I think we're still a bit off from all that stuff, though it will definitely be in our lifetime proved that we don't all die in 2012. And I suspect it'll be just like all other technology. When it first comes out you'll have to pay out the ass for it, but then they improve it upon it then prices will steadily drop until it becomes affordable for everyone.

 

My friend has this headset that picks up your brainwaves, and it works on CoD7

I can only do it when I'm high tho, something with alpha brainwaves bla bla
