Why is my ping high yet...

Well yea when i use the /Ping command this is the ping I get:

I'm not expecting overly low ping results but mine is in the 300-500 range >.>
I got a decent computer so that's out of the question and my internet connection is also decent.

I tried using Leatrix Latency Fix and for a while it worked (100-200ms) then it went back to normal.

I'm not a techy sort of guy so I'm a bit clueless, anything you guys can suggest would help, am I missing something here?

 

ping depends on how far you live from the server host. I don't know exactly where the server host is located, but you might want to try somewhere in central america.

 

Where is the server host btw?

Anyway thing is my ping used to be in the 200-300 range (sometimes lower) but now its like this.

 

re-instal leatrix, go through the whole proccess, instal and restart, then try.
it may also be the server itself that's lagging

ping got nothing to do with ur PC (after using leatrix) or speed connection its just the distance between u and the server
and i think the server in Chicago

 

Or someone is downloading in your house

Anyway time to bump - srzly its like 700ms now, I understand if my ping as a lil high but it went for 1-200 to 300-500 now its freaking worse >.>

 

can you call people with ridiculously less than 100 ping a pro?
wish I had that ping and not ranging to 900 and above.... X_X

 

It could be your internet provider? I think the server is located in Texas i could be wrong.
