is Magic Resist broken/bugged again?

before the update I used to resist holds, entangles, sometimes sleep but after the update I no longer can...

 

i was pretty sure about the same thing.... Asanka tho said the opposite but i pay a huge attention to that and i do not resist the same. It seems that entagles holds etc have higher chance of accuracy again when they shouldnt.

 

I dont think that has to be with MR. I think this is more a MA problem.

cause i got ankled 3 times in a row today,with 1.8k MR,yes IN A ROW,i got ankle snared,pot out,second time,elemental screen and heal like i never healed before,and third ankle snare,dead chanter T-T

 

my root I still gets resisted by glads sometimes so i dont think theres something wrong ^^

side note: i have 1.9 MA... :x

ah but that has nothing to do with MR, glads have a buff that resists a magic attack, i already talked about this

and yes would explain why every rangers sleep arrow sleeps me (hell those guys have virtually no magical accuracy and im a sorc with high base MR)

same with fear, never resist it and i mean never

 

so will there be final answer is it bugged or smthn cuz rly wonder should i go for mr and mb build

 

I can resist some skills but not root, sleep, and silence and yes entangling shot too...even with templar buff and having 2.6k MR...

 

im telling you guys only a noob wouldnt notice the change in the rates... its obvious something is wrong here...

 

it's true, even with full ABG, by default my ranger's base MA is roughly 1k-1.1k. Which shouldn't even be able to AT ALL touch people with 1.8-2k MR

Edit: We have no buffs to help that either, so our sleeps and entangles hitting with such a difference in MA/MR there is defo something wrong with the formula

Smartik...but as far as I know you have no single MR stone socketed :S

 

You all know that MR was announced in the updates, right? The difference in accuracy/resist might be changed but the resist isn't going away for a while. Stop complaining and get some manastones.

 

If MA rate is changed its the same like lowering MR. Its obvious its not us that complained to make this happen. But its our turn now that we get entagled and silenced at least 30% more than b4 update

 

People complain about every update that happens. I, for one, like the new resist rates. You can't please everyone.

i got tired of resocketing weekly coz they couldnt make up their mind what to do with sorc lol (besides the fact that MR has a history of being bugged)

 

Being 100% ankled snared,entangling,sleep is pretty fun eh? Whats the point of MR now,i have 1.8k base MR,and i cant resist shit,might as well socket til my chant gets 900 attack and 1.2k MR then

Not that we're complaining,but its obvious,they rangers have 1.2k MA,while i got 1.8k,base

lol its so funny.... i get silenced from anhart rangers in a row xD... and slowed down ALWAYS like ALWAYS..lol i dont get whats the balance and the fun in facking up a Build when it already sacrifices the most important thing which is power...

Just leave accuracy rates as they are...ffs... =.=

 

well as far as i know, 1.8k MR makes very little (or none) difference. ppl with 2.1k do resist mostly everything tho
