Please help me

OK so i just updated my Aion to latest version. And when ever i try to add the new item.pak i can not log on i get the error "Fail to initialize game" and i have tried both the 14 and the 16 but neither 1 one will work... and for further information i run off of Vista..... So can someone please help me.....

Where did you place the item.pak? Usually the 'Fail to initialize' error is caused by having it in the wrong folder

 

it usually happens when u put it in the wrong place. first of all if i were u id rename the original items pak to items backup.pak or something so u dont have to repair every time (or just make a copy of it just in case) then experiment

the 2 possible locations to put it r Data\Items and Data\USA\Items, dont switch both at once just try 1 first then the other, if neither works, try someone elses items pak

u can try mine as well, its meant for 2.0 but some1 tested it and said it worked just fine with 2.1. there were 2 versions of the 2.0 items pak, 1 was for the US client and 1 for EU client, can try the guide in my link and see if that helps

 

i placed it in C:\Program Files (x86)\NCSoft\Data\Items

np lol, yeah asankas 2.1 guide says put it in the USA folder
