The change doesn't have to be as drastic as I proposed, as long as we can reach a happy medium...

then ur gonna end up with people making 10-20 chars buying up stuff and storing it (same thing material merchant abusers did when they ran out of space to store, just made more and more alts to store it on)

id put it this way, if u want to add the material merchant back, make the stuff at least somehow expensive (the old prices were ridiculous, they could fill up their entire warehouse for the cost of 1 elder part on auction). this way ud drain money from the economy instead of adding more and more to it. if theres less money around, people MIGHT go for a bit more realistic prices that others can afford (although i doubt it, people r naturally greedy)

I think with some tweaks we can actually make a lot of people happy, since there's nothing to lose... it would DROP ridiculous prices on scrolls, food etc. People would actually compete for prices. I'm thinking you can make things fairly expensive... not ridiculously so. We want the new players to have access to crafting as much as the players who've been around for longer. If you have some idiot with 1T spending all of it on mats, then he's just flooding the market with them, which doesn't make a difference since he's going to USE them, and if you flood the market with scrolls, food, armor, weapons then all you achieve is a lower price on ALL of those items.

I agree with OP and many people here
There should be craft mats for sell on npcs but with a higher price

lower tie items like aether, greater aether, ores, greater ores can be unlimited
whereas higher tie items like pure....and brilliant ..... can be limited to characters/account a day

Really looking forward if this happens

I'm one of the people who missed the npc and would love if something was arranged to bring him back.

It's not that hard to craft. I find the gathering much easier here than in retail. O_O

I see the prices of scrolls increasing, as well as the demand. Since they're consumables they have to run low again. I think that by adding the NPC the prices of everything out there except credits would be useless.

Im ok with this idea, especially since i missed the NPC as well. even tho im mainly looking at getting the flux vendor back. i farmed mats to make drenium stuff only to find out the fluxs are unavailable now. i looked on the broker and the flux i need is pretty much 1 billion each. i can make the money selling anuhart and taha weapons on the broker but it would take awhile to do, then try and buy one of the stacks which the samllest i saw was 100 of them. you get the idea. please at least put the flux vendor back in.

What's the use of gathering if all ingredients can be bought in NPCs?

Only qualms I have about the limited sales npc? The rich noobs that get access to it first when it restocks would monopolize the supply, therefore only worsening the situation.

I agree with the idea of limited materials per day on account... and a way to limit it by IP.. so no muti account greedy person can stack his warehouse (sounds nice but I dont know if its possible >.<)...

But i also think that gathering is part of the game, maybe some components should be in the npc store, but no everything only the rarest stuff, the one that never drops. So still people must go out there and gather the basic stuff...

    its only my opinion
