I need admnistrator's help (3rd time)

I can't enter in the game because some stupid error. When i change my item.pak for the new one i got crash after NCSoft screen, but when i put the item.pak that cant trade anything even an ANU. armor i can go in the game. It's been one week since I'm tryng to connect, I have alredy asked help so many times in this forum and no one could help me, I wonder if admnistrators can.

• Yes I putted in the right place (The item.pak)
• Yes my client is updated to the last version
• My OS is Windows XP
• Yes I alredy tryed the compatible item.pak for windows XP
• Yes I alredy tryed to fix it with NCSOFT patch repair

I've had the same issue, you either put it in the wrong area, which causes that code, or that Item pak just doesn't work for you. For some reasone, some people have to use the older Items paks - 2.0/1.9

 

Doesn't work... I'm getting pissed.

 

The goddam problem is the ****ing item.pak i can change everything of my AION folder but when I move the item.pak it crashes... GOD ! I also tryed in a different OS (Windows 7) and it still crashes.

 

Did you put it and replace in the Aion/Data/US/Items?
Also make sure you downloaded this Item.pak

Are you POSITIVE you put the item.pak in Data>USA>Items? If you're putting it in just Data>Items it's going to give you an error.

 

He claims to have put it in the right place. Who knows.

 

ok heres the problem ur facing but u havent used a tactical approach yet:

there r 3 versions of items.pak and 2 possible places to put it

the places r:
Data\Items
Data\USA\Items

in my sig i have the 2.1 items.pak (1 version) and the 2 versions of 2.0 items.pak already turned into installers so u cant screw up

ur only concern is to find out what ur version of aion is (US or EU) and grab the right one, it puts it to the correct place for u

there has already been an issue with win xp sp3 users who cant trade with the items.pak in the right place (and if they try another place they get errors coz it really doesnt belong there)

anyways try the different combinations (really there arent that many) and see what works for u

 

Yes i did in the right place I'm sure of what I'm saying... C: Aion> Data > Usa> Items.

 

yeah u didnt get what im saying depending on ur version of aion (US or EU) the 2.0 items.pak that u can try too coz it works with 2.1 can be placed in 1 or the other location (the Data\Items folder is for EU clients, thats why im saying this)

if u cant get 2.1 to work, grab the 2.0 items.pak in my guide and try with that. u dont have to worry bout locations, just grab the correct installer and locate ur gamez aion folder, it will do the rest

just coz the 2.1 items.pak doesnt work for u it doesnt mean its the end (yes u might be doing it right and it still wont work). there r many different versions of the items.pak around, u can try them out and see if any of those works
