Spiritmaster / Sorc OP... MR not working pls fix

I am writing to complain about mr not working one bit, i just donated for abg jewls and i have a full mr set with glad i got about 1.9k mr with food and i used spell resist greater scroll. I tested with a friends gimpy sorc and sm and cant resist any stuff from either both with 1.2k ma i never resisted one silence or tree or sleep or fear skill out of 50+ tested for 20 minutes. a rank 9 with no gear on me is 100% scuess rate on most skill.
pls fix mr and make it more realistic... also the pet speed is just funny too, twice as fast as me with running scrolls and charge and title for 4% speed.
Also casting range is huge 70metres as long as target was in range at start of cast.

 

I wish to see that fixed too, but not soo soon, I playing SM for now

 

tbh sorc will always pwn u no matter what we have so many magical accuracy skills that MR wont save u ^^ (yes im sorc lol)

the problem is with SM fear in many ways, the fact that its unresistable, the fact that it lasts so long and the fact that u cant move when feared (unlike retail)

i also hate the ranger sleep arrow lol, they magical accuracy SUX and it still works 100% of the time against sorc who have high base MR xD

 

Spell resist isn't magic resist. Spell resist only reduces the chance of you getting hit by a critical spell. Crit Spell is disabled in Gamez so it's useless to use that kind of scroll.

 

spell resist scroll aside then, those in abg with books and high ma aside. I should still be resisting something one day vs a friends ill equipped alt... if the numbers are like that. 2k vs 1.2k not even 1 out of 200+ skill test . its as clear as night and day. therefore its not working as it was intended one bit as far as i can see

Wrong, the cast is cancel if the target go out from range (30m) the only one that can hit more than 30m is ranger that is bugged.

About resist Fear. I duel and pvp and always resis fear/silence/curse of fire/water, the only one that i couldnt resist is fear shriek.

If you actually compare magic resist also now resist part of the dmg like it does on retail. So if I were dont complain on good mr atm. Since it will help you survive few rounds. also, higher magic resist does not mean u will resist the spell especially an sm. It just mean you have higher chance of resisting attack completely on top of resisting the dmg itself. SM cast about good 10 spells againts an opponent. versus to a sorc 3-4 spells.

 

incorrect.. I have tested it very extensively and the out of range cancel is only occuring pve, maybe you should test like i did with a friend under very specific circumstances ( I was a game bug tester for 4 years also). If you want ill make a timelapse benny hill vid of the fact mr and range is bugged...
And to the last poster. I cant comprehend what you're trying to say, maybe rephrase it? Can you comprehend what magic resist is? Have you played on retail? I think not...

 

Well if you guys use full ABG + full m resist stone they wont help you.

I have 2,163 MA and there was this glad today that resisted a lot of my fears. The only thing he didn't resist was Body Root. Maybe he had MR set and it worked. I dunno, many mages are stacking MA now so not sure if MR is indeed broken.

 

MR is working. u are begin hit by sorc is probably they used skill buffs to buff their MA up to at least 2000 or more. which will surely hit u

Yeah I saw the video. That spiritmaster was clearly hacking his MR. No way he can resist that much MA.

I don't think I've ever resisted Fear yet, on any of my chars.

 

Lol same,i get feared even with 2k MR(with Aether Armor),they're prolly MA stackers though

When i see a SM casting fear i just whack and pray for my silence godstone to proc,lol
