About Dual Wielding..

As the title says, I have a few questions about Dual Wielding as a Gladtard.

1. For starters, since there's realistically no diversity in players resulting from no profound builds, is dual wielding viable for PvP?

2. IF I decided to go dual wield, what are the pros and what are the cons?

3. Lastly, what would be my counter class(s) be?

Dual-wield used to be pretty famous , before Armfusion was implemented , nowadays ... it's rarely used.

Your counter classes would be a templar / sorc / cleric since you cannot deal enough damage in time .

Pros & Cons .. hmm , well if you go for 10% blind & 10% silence godstones , with a tad luck you can keep them basicly paralyzed ... they can't attack you & can't pop any defensive / healing skills either .

Counter class = a full abg templar with shield... thats all LOL

if its 1 vs 1 , u got the advantage over everything, coz godstones > everything, since u got a higher chance of ur godstones successfully silencing/blinding/ paralyzing ur enemies

Pros: U hit fast, godstone procs are much easier to attain,

Cons: U hit like a girl if u meet a templar, or any plate wearing char...

Dual wielding isn't all that bad, but missing out on seismic wave, and the currently bugged spcs seems too much of a trade off =(.

 

are assasins suppose to weave so little dmg o_o ? because im full abg and criticals on weave max is like 487

I dual wield on my gladi, I run x2 bolvigs as well. But I also have a great sword with silence for when an enemy is under 30% health, or it happens to be my counter class.

Damage is still above average with slaughter on/

 

Well, currently, I'm debating on whether to play a Templar or a dual wielding Gladiator. Keep in mind I a full ABG chain set +15 that I have to work with considering I don't have VIP at the moment.
