forts can be taken by own race..i dunno wuz this intended..or a bug ppl are jus exploiting..so just want an answer to it...nothing more..thx

 

You can't do that in retail, not sure that they ment to make it like that on Gamez though.

 

What do you mean? Asmos are taking other asmo forts? Never heard of this happening before.

well...i'm seein more elyos taking forts in abyss that belonged to elyos...when they are vulnerable..

but yea..asmo can do the same..its jus own race taking their own forts...

the other way around, elyos have been recapping their own forts over and over

heres how it goes:
1. forts become vulnerable
2. elyos recap all 4 of them within 5 minutes
3. be4 asmos can even get to a fort they r no longer vulnerable

result? elyos have a crapload of gold medals and control pretty much all of the abyss coz theres a LOT more of them than asmos

and i mean that literally, last time i was on, i flew towards a fort, all 4 of them were recapped be4 i even got there (elyos can teleport directly to them coz they own them to begin with)

Interesting.. I dunno if this is a bug or not. It possibly is as Adieu stated this is not how it was meant to be on retail.

Most likely this will need to be looked into soon as to avoid any more major exploit abuse as most likely people are already abusing it.

 

lol u look surprised elyos have been recapping them for weeks. ever wondered why elyos never own less than 70% of forts? it used to change a lot till this became possible

and yeah we lose out on gold medals bigtime

 

as Smartik1 mention...i mean...normally its ok..elyos at fort...but since they're taking it..its a different story...

because elyos can port straight to their own fort...we can't get to them intime..and if we do..they have already swarmed in numbers....lil difficult to deal wit u kno..

and yea..it isn't meant in retail..

 

I don't play on Gamez anymore so I wouldn't really know much about what goes on there. Most of my time was spent on Crystal.

 

well look at the screen i posted xD i pot the flight pot every minute, 3 forts fell in the meantime lol (if u look at the chat, all the 4 forts that became vulnerable fell instantly)

 

Yeah I looked at it lol. I'm just surprised that it's even possible.

 

im more surprised than u r, i flew towards the forts the moment they became vulnerable, i was barely halfway and they were all down already

the moment elyos became able to recapture their own forts, asmos stopped getting any. havent had a chance to get a gold medal for weeks now coz they kill them too fast

was better when they had to physically stand there the whole time and guard the fort, at least we had some fun pvp and a chance to get the medals, now there is none if we cant physically get there be4 hes dead

 

I've reported it already. It's a bug.

For now this is something that only a Dev could really deal with. It's sad to see this happening though.

 

It's a known bug, and AFAIK the devs are working on it.
