Very new, please have some mercy

I just started playing this game, so please bear with me.
I created an Asmodian mage, but after a while, it won't attack with magic. It is hotkeyed at 2, but when i pressed 2, i go into combat, but nothing happens...
is the mage bugged? or is there something that im not doing right? also, my Exp bar, the XP at the bottom, its full, but i don't level up (currently at lvl9 right now). is there some things that i need to complete, or NPC that i need to talk to in order to advance??

To level beyond 9 you need to do the Ascension Quest in your questlog.

As for the first part of your question. Your magic attack is hotkeyed to 2 and pressing 2 does nothing? Mind screenshotting it for me and placing it here?

 

I don't really understand what do you mean by the first problem ...

As for the exp problem , you have to create ASCENSION campaign quest , which can be found in the Quest window (campaign section)

After you complete it , you'll reach lvl20-22 , I don't exactly remember ;o

as for the first problem, my character will go into combat mode, the music starts to play, her eyes turned red and she opens her spellbook ready to cast, but she wont cast the spells. when i press on any of the hotkeys, it just turn gray, but nothing happens. i will do a screen cap and put it on later.

 

Normally that means you aren't fufilling some prerequisite for the skill, but I will need the screenshot to be able to better answer you. Try also to logout and log back in, switching your hotkeys around, etc.

 

Usually when that happens means the server did a partial crash. But does it still do it after you relog?

um i know that, i know how to fix it but i gotta go online cuz i can't remember exactly it's something in options, if ur on asmo side then w8 for me

nanan it's a thing on Options and if its ticked u cant attack anything



when i 1st start playing aion did the same thing like put everything on maximum and thick everything ..

 

just relog.. and don't try to pick something..

also, is there no warehouse keeper in this game? like in Lineage 2 to store your items?

About your first problem, that also happened to me when I got new chars. Relogging always helped, though.

 

hey dont forget. some skills wont work because it needs to follow a chain skill. :alien:

so just see for yourself.

 

You can actually avoid this problem if you wont loot from the mobs lvl 1-9 in Poeta or Ishalgen. That's the one who triggers it looting.

 

For the first issue uncheck your Disbale Auto Aproach To Target in the game options.

Yes, there are player warehouses and account warehouses in Aion. They're in every main town.

 

@First Problem: When that problem occurs, sit down and stand up again (press comma , to sit down and stand up) and try attacking again, I had that problem as well so itsk, ^^;
