Critical cap. 440 or 620?

According to I have understood, the crit cap is 440, but today they told me they raised it to 620.

Is it true?

 

Wasn't it 550?

 

The soft cap used to be 440 or so back in 1.5-1.9. The cap nowadays ranges from around 500-560 at least.

If you're a glad make your crit from about 500-550 then use scrolls and food, to up the crit when you pvp, then go all attack.

 

its definitely not 600+, i know it used to be 440, then im pretty sure the next was 540

 

From what I know is that there is no cap for Crit strike.
But you won't get high critical rate after you reach 50percent=about500cirt.
Example is like below and it is just a example so ignore the number pls.
300 crit = about 20-25%crit chance/ 500 crit = about 50% crit chance/ 700 crit = about 55% crit chance
Before 2.0 on gamez aion one of my friend(glad) tried about 950 crit strike.
And I felt the defference comparing with 695 crit strike.
Not sure after updates though xD

 

550 =47.x% = soft cap above that is just useless - No known max %.

 

i have 770+ last time with scroll and now i have 560 with scroll pretty much the same... im a glady anyways

 

I believe 540 was the hard cap. That's what I run.

 

440 (soft cap), 660 (hard cap) and 1000 max crit.

 

crit cap in this server is 540 . but i recommend you to make it 720~740.

 

What you guys are forgetting is, that during a fight in pvp your crit numbers are subtracted by a armor check via your opponent IE if you only have 500 crit and fight someone with +15 armor you chances to crit are reduced by 19.5% iirc. This was determined and tested when crit resist was 1st introduced. And 90% of the player base has +15 armor of some sort so if you have say 750 crit once it is subtracted by their 19.5% crit resist it normalizes it. So thats why you shoot for a higher number.

 

the cap's changed with 2.0.

 

Currently there is no cap implemented for critical. When i find out what it should be, I will implement it.

Yes, in 1.9 the critical cap was 440 , now that we are in 2.0 is 550 .

I just logged on and saw this post. So many people think its this or that or tell you to make it this or that. Thank you evilset and Taruka for providing the correct info. I was going to post 550 since 2.0 but decided to read more of the thread....lol.
I have found that a crit level 500, or a few points over is sufficient. Use the 120 crit scrolls at that crit level and you are GTG!

Im a glad. I know in 1.9 was 440, sure of it.
Then i just dunno, is the first notice i have of this. But to tell u the truth i have noticed no diference having 440 or 520 for example.
i think the % u get from 440-450 and above of making a critic its ridiculous so i just went full atk once i reached 450 critic.
