Aether Flying fishing

I got this awesome idea for an event

Place: Alukina s palace or the Elyos equivelant...(Never played an elyos)

Winner: The first to harvest one Brilliant Aether winz a proced golden weapon of choise like Expert Noble drenium Greatsword which can be upgraded to higher weapon

Other winnings: Everyone can exchange blue Aethers for Brilliant mag aethers, green aethers for blue mag aethers and white aethers for green mag aethers

Imagine how exiting will be 10-20 devas flying around trying to loot nodes be4 others


One serious problem: How gms are gonna prevent people entering with the mats in their inventory. Without this solved i fear it would be unfair event

 

IMPROVEMENTS

1) One possible cure to the big problem is only make this event for the 15 first that are interested when the event is announced 15 ppl can be easilly checked if 2 gms are online. Then the gm get s out to guard the entrance so noone comes to trade with the contestants. First person that trades Brilliant aether to gm winz

2) Rewards: Brilliant aether: traded for an ammount of Brilliant magical aethers (ie 15 or 20 magical aether)*
Other winnings: Everyone can exchange blue Aethers for Brilliant mag aethers, green aethers for blue mag aethers and white aethers for green mag aethers

*(I don t beleive (as Ashlin suggested when I told her)that giving 1 expert noble weapon is too much or overpowered because

a)To really make it worthy onemust have a crafter of supreme mastery---and one such deserves bearing it.--- It has about 25% to proc and if it doesn t a tahabatta weapon is betta!
b)U give only 1 per event which is no big deal---If the guy had the luck to get the aether, the luck to proc it and the skills to craft it we may as well assume that he has all what it takes to have such a weapon!
c)Brilliant aethers aren t easy to get and many sessions may pass without any luck
d)A 500 weaponsmith(alchemist or handicraftman) HAS the skill to make 1 anyway so u just save him the immense grinding part

e)But again if u find this overpowered 15 Brilliant magical aethers is a decent reward

3) One othe possible way to combat the big problem is:

If it exists in aion (i think it existed in L2 not 100% sure and certainly not sure about Aion) that the admin of the server can issue a complete wipe of a certain item. If that s indeed the case, then be4 the event starts we can issue that command to completely wipe out all Brilliant aethers from the player database(I m assuming noone uses or collects Bri Aethers) then launch the event. This way we ll be certain that the first to trade will have harvested now and is not a cheater!

4) To make the event even more fun we can make it for elyos and asmos at the same time(with a preset of a 10vs 10) so Asmos and elyos will fight over who harvest the most nodes. KISKS allowed!!! Each team will have 3 gatherers that must enter the event completely unarmed!(they may wear armour thought). Gatherers cannot be ressurected and must leave the instance if dead. The race that lost all its gatherers must leave the instance to leave the opponent race to harvest alone.
Objectives: The race that kills all opponent gatherers or collects th Br aether 1st winz an additional group reward such as 5enchants or 5 flying manastones

5) The idea is based on a wow event Stranglethorn Extravaganza but wow s event offers not the same exitement cause it s done in a non flying allowed area (pre-Cataclysm and pre-WOtLK i think)
