Abyss Entry Quest?

Hi there, sorry if I have posted this in the wrong place.
Me and a friend have recently started playing Aion and decided to start our journey here, we are both experienced MMporg players but cannot seem to get to grips with how the quest system is working....
We want to go to the Abyss but this Entry quest does not seem to appear.... we have done a far chunk of the quests under level 25 as we are both now level 33/34 respectively and still cannot fathom what we are/have been doing wrong???
(P.S. the quest just shows this *???????*)

You do not need to do the Abyss Entry quest to enter. Just fly to an Abyss portal and click it to enter. They are normally on floating islands in the sky or sometimes under the city in the case of Eltnen.

 

You mean you have tried entering by using the Abyss portal and it won't let you? Or you just can't see the quest? You don't really have to complete the quest to enter the Abyss in gamez.
