Graphic problem

Hello i have this problem when i only play aion.....it happens to me once per day or twice!!! i have Nvedia Gforce 8600M GT!! (i have game options all on low quality)...
That happen only when i play aion and not on l2!!!... i know my pc is not the best!!

I think it's just your Graphic card raging on you. o.o Which means a new graphic card, or live with it.

 

Oh i didnt mention it!!! my pc is laptop!! i cant change graphic cards!!...damn!!

try this, it helped me with nvidia driver issues be4. nvidia drivers r really crappy for laptop cards lately and u need to tweak them a bit. aion used to do to me something like it did to u, xept my whole laptop froze with graphics messed up

1. Download the latest version of RivaTuner here: http://www.guru3d.com/index.php?page=rivatuner

2. Install RivaTuner and Run the program.

3. In the Main tab, click on the arrow next to Customize under Driver Settings to bring up more options then click System Settings (the first Icon)

4. In the Overclocking tab, where it says "Force constant performance level" select performance 3D.

5. Click apply, and reboot the system when prompted.

If for some reason the "Force constant performance level" drop-down is grayed out you will need to go to the "Power users" tab in the initial RivaTuner window. Then click on the "+" next to "RivaTuner \ NVIDIA \ Overclocking". Look for "EnablePerfLevelForcing" and under Value type 1. Click apply, this should allow you to modify "Force constant performance level." Finally, follow steps 3-5 above.


also might wanna grab directx 9.0c just for the heck of it, aion is a directx 9 game and ur card runs on directx 10 (it wont overwrite it, just add the necessary files). old games often have issues seeing the new directx


btw yes we know its a laptop the M behind ur graphics card model means mobile (laptop) lol

btw if that doesnt help, look up updated drivers for ur graphics card. they tend to include fixes for new games and such (might wanna grab a BIOS update for ur laptop along with it, better compatibility)

Ok I did exactly what u told me.. no problem at all!! i restart it and all are normal...only left to play and see if i have this problem again!!

that u said about bios....i dont know how to update this (and i am afraid a bit)...!!

 

depending on the laptop, bios updates can be tricky some laptops do it directly in windows, for some u have to burn it on a cd that loads during startup and updates it be4 windows loads. as long as u got the bios update from ur laptop sellers website its alright (only updated bios twice so far but no problems). anyways its probably not all that important most of the new things in bios updates include support for the latest hardware and u havent really be changing any hardware
