Why am i Unable to fly in a listed free fly zone

Hello everyone! was just wondering why i cant fly in altgard? is it a result of the new patch? and if so why disable free fly in this lvl 20 zone?


I have also replaced the system.ovr file just so we can eliminate that answer.

 

You can fly in the other places just fine, I'll imagine then? Or could before the patch?

 

yeah before the patch i could free fly all over altgard and the rest of the zones except pandemonium which im sure was never free fly in the beginning.

 

Most likely something done by the dev then.

Don't quote me though, since I'm not completely sure. I don't see any other reason for you to suddenly lose the ability to free-fly in altgard. o.o;

 

yeah as for altgard i dont just mean the area where u spawn once you teleport there cause i can fly there. But before the patch i could fly all over the whole altgard zone as well as the spawn area.

 

already be4 the patch u couldnt fly outside of town...there was a bug where u could "fly outside of town" if u didnt fly in the direction of a path, but the moment u got above 1 ur wings shut off

 

Actually, I don't ever remember Altgard being completely free-fly. It's not because of the update, I don't think.

thats weird and was belusian normally free fly outside of the town? cause before the patch i could free fly over the whole zone aswell. and why not make altgard free fly if all of ishalgen is.


Just did a test in altgard i was able to free fly into the heart of imperium but when i went near the Mu Mu farmlands i lost my free fly.

 

Idk why Altgard isn't free-fly. Beluslan's free-fly was just removed to make the zone ground PVP (rifting).

 

I wish there was a way to make certain areas of the zone free fly and to set a designated PVP area in Beluslan where theres no fly. making the whole zone no fly makes questing in areas long and tedious with all the walking

 

Beluslan and Heiron are Ground PVP now.
