Hung after login.

Username and pw work but then it just hangs there and my characters don't come up.

 

I think i found a solution to this problem

But first make sure you have the 2.1 client

If you do and it still hangs there
open up your Task Manager(CTRL + ALT + DEL)
Click on Processes
look for conhost and end application

should fix it

 

I must only have the 2.0 version. plz link 2.1 update thread with instruction.

Oh its pretty simple actually

just open your NCSoft Launcher,should be in your Aion folder
after that right click on Aion in the list,and click Update

 

Aion and Gamezaion files are both in my ncsoft folder and only have gamez launcher available.

How do I rearrange my folders so I can use the ncsoft launcher to update?

 

There should be a "Launcher" folder somewhere around,it should be installed,look around

inside the Launcher folder theres a NCLauncher

 

found it, opened launcher, right clicked on aion, clicked on update, it's already updated...
started Gamezaion launcher, put in un and pw, accepted agreement, and still hangs there and my characters don't show up.
I didn't find conhost in processes either...

 

soooo, copy updated aion folder rename it install gamez launcher gogogo?

Just uninstall the launcher and reinstall it afterward. Did the tricks for me.

 

This due to the latest patch I believe. GamezAion might not support the 2.1.0.7.

 

I was talking to some people who updated to 2.1.0.7 and they are capable of logging in fine. Their could be several reasons why this is happening though. I would probably just start with this thread.
