Equipping chars with best drop gears

So...I created 8 chars, 4 for each race, no repeating classes...I am leveling them, and most of them are now level 30+. But here comes the problem: EQUIPPING THEM :crying:

I am totally new to Aion, and I haven't get any crafting/gathering skills...

I have a chanter (asmo) level 55, wearing level 4x greens...
For Elyos side, my cleric is level 30, it will be my first toon to reach lv55 for Elyos side.

I am not in a hurry to get into PvP, I just wish to get my chars properly geared up step-by-step. I plan to use my high levels to gather gears for my lowbies.

I am really tired of searching drops from aionarmory/aiondatabase, only to find that it won't drop at all, or the mob is impossible to solo...

I can't consider joining a guild/raid/party for now, because I am playing on and off (life...), I can't commit to playing the game or be on gaming schedule.

Please enlighten me, what's your suggestion on getting characters equipped?
What kind of gears should I aim for, to be averagely competitive PvE and PvP-wise?

Which area/monsters should I hunt, for best item possible through "kill-a-mob-it-will-drop" method (just in-case whenever I am soloing)?

 

Hmm on Elyos side you can get Blue Sky or Ancestor(Reshanta) armors for your low lvl characters. On asmo side you can go hunt for Grand Chieftains armors. But the best would be to lvl your Cleric to 55 and get help from a tank and go in DP and farm Anuhart armors for your characters.

 

just go to dark pöeta(google that if u dunno where) with ur chanter or cleric and ull get gold gear in no time

Are these the best armor for both PvP and PvE? Or do I need separate ones? Can someone tell me which is the best OBTAINABLE (no point if it isn't, lol) PvP and PvE armors (or at least, competitive ones), with AND without abyss point?

BTW, thanks for the offer rednasyl31, but I prefer to earn my own stuff

DARK Poeta? I thought Poeta is Elyos's starting island, never know there's a Dark version...Will I be able to solo in there with my lv55 chanter, who is on lv47 greens?
