What is "Rift"

If I posted this in the wrong section please move it to the right section. This video game is being advertised on the Aion Online Wiki and I watched one video about it. It mentioned the name of Aion Online Worlds Nameinched: Is rift an advancment to Aion Online? You can register for the BETA Right now too- Will Gamez Aion be moving to this new Mmo if it's Aion Online Related? One bad thing I saw about the video is Asmodian and Elyos are gone, and mounts are added... We need wings and mounts, not the other way around. Oddly the Company's Slogan Is Trionworlds (Very close to Aion Worlds) and the 4 classes are based on Aions Classes. Rogue, Mage, Warrior, and Cleric.

AFAIK Rift is a totally different game. It's even developed by another developer, not NCSoft.

So relax, Aion won't be changed to Rift. Just wait for Aion 2.5 instead.

 

Why does the video mention Wow's World and the name is Trion Gaming? Trion sounds a lot like Aion. They are connected somehow>>

 

I thought NCSoft is the developer of Aion, not Trion. NCSoft comes from Korea, and Trion comes from America. So there's no way they're connected.

 

Why would Ncsoft advertise the game on the Aion Online Wiki? It doesn't sound like a smart idea if it's not related to them..

 

I got into the closed beta but I haven't played it yet. It sounds similar to wow and aion to me. But it's made from Trion so I dunno.

The official NA Aion wiki is the one I gave above. Yours is a fan made, as it's hosted on wikia. So it's legal for wikia to show another games' ads there.

Even a game that totally off with Aion can pop out at that site. ^_^
