You can always read tutorials, I started off without any skills aswell. (Not saying I'm pro)

Ah that's cool man! Which program you use? 3D Max?

I use Autodesk Maya and a few different programs for texturing. I've got a thread up awhile back with some of my older works, most incomplete as I don't own a copy of Maya yet.
