a few questions i have about the game

Hey guys,

So I recently started playing and have to say Aion is probably the best-looking and most rich mmorpg I have ever come across. I noticed the Crytek engine and wasn't shocked because even on medium settings it makes my quad core rig squeal.
I'm a gladiator and love everything but a few concerns are baking the game a tad annoying.

I had a few questions
- So about the quests, it says I have to complete all of the quests in the town, is that true? Which quests are mandatory to just move along the story?

- Is it me or are the quests boring as hell, people just make me run around back and forth O___O Or is that just the gladiator path?

- I have never had more gruesome travelling in any other game, I think walking in real life wouldn't take that long lol. Seriously other than Teleport / Flight / Tele Scrolls is there any other way to getting place faster?

 

The quest that is mandatory I think is only Ascension. The rest are optional... you don't have to do all the quest that is on your journal...
Are you Asmo or Elyos? There is no other alternative aside from teleport/flight/ scrolls.... you just have to familiarized the maps or places that are safe to level....

Any mmo wanna be like that. And you forgot the key how to you keep playing the same mmo. There is a reason pay for month. x)
