Ranger Or chanter??
hhmmm what is nice in this two char?? in this upcoming stigma system

 

They are both pretty awesome classes to play.. It all depends on if you wanna be able to self heal yourself. Chanter, in my opinion, is better since you CAN self-heal.. But being as both have range attacks...Rangers also don't get good skills til after lvl 30 I believe...

 

Well i will just tell my opinion for this type of mass pvp server not for other servers where i would always took chant.
Take ranger, he can deal huge amount of damage i every situation, farming mobs, bosses or zerging oposite race and its much funnier to play than chant.
On the other hand, chant has much more chances to survive as he has much better def and hp and its fastest class whit that speed mantra, but you dont have much ranged skills for chasing and killin in pvp.
When i came here to play i first made glad, its my main for over a year, than chant, i liked them on my old server and than ranger to try it because i never played it before. And.... I just play with ranger now

 

i think chanter is much better!!

Chanter:will have to chose pvp group or Solo group .. so if yo like solo go for ranger ..if you like to play with friends .. etc etc go for chanter and pvp group stigma tree

I believe the correct word here is 'Ranter'.

On topic: Chanters can ail you pretty darn well, and coupling that with the accumulating damage will finish you. But a reliable ranger will keep in mind his/her burst capability. In those few first bursts, is when it determines that ranger's outcome.

Then there's sleep arrow of course. xD I put to sleep Gladiators I can't kill, and A). get the hell out of there. Or B). fly a certain distance and and root them with shock arrow and continue my bursts until they're ded.
