Free Fly Problem

I tried everything i found in this forums and still nothing works . In my Ncsoft folder i have 2 folders and it goes like this
Ncsoft/Aion
/AionEU
Could this be the problem why i can't fly?
I've honestly tried everything. Plz help me........! :'(

 

u need the modified system.ovr file, either download it in my sig or replace the content of urs with this

-- add your settings to this file, not system.cfg

freefly needs to be set to 1
and no what u described isnt the reason why u cant fly, as long as the game runs its installed properly (and tbh it can be installed in any folder u choose outside of ncsoft as well)

 

Still nothing works ' . When i try to save the file i get a notification that i'm not permited . Any help?

 

make sure its not set to "read only" or download some1 elses and replace urs

also r u doing it on ur own pc? if its a public pc u might have restricted harddrive access (need admin access)

 

I feel stupid but i do it on my pc and i guess i've done something wrong :S. Every time i try to make it not to be set on "read only" . Guess i've done my pc like public whn i installed windows 7 ^_^'. any ideas what should i do?

 

go to control panels -> user accounts and make sure the one ur logged into has admin access
also if u have problems editing urs, just save another notepad file as system.ovr with the content i gave u above, delete the old 1 and replace with urs

u can also download the file in my sig if ur too lazy to do it urself xD

 

Still not working. Because i couldn't figure out the control panel i've downloaded the Client in ur sig and the other pacs. extracted them somewhere else and then copied them and overwrited the existing files with these and still not working . I guess no free for me :'(

 

guess u can always repair ur client in the ncsoft launcher and try again. see if that changes anything. or u can get teamviewer and i can get on ur desktop and try do it for u

download teamviewer and tell me the ID and randomly generated pass in a PM so i can connect to u. gonna take a look at it

well his system.ovr is configured properly, sent him to a zone i know for sure is freefly to see if it works. lets see how it goes

 

no i was going say, i will teamview him, i can solve his problem, i dunno how to explain it lol.

I got the freefly working in poeta for ex. But only there. I tried it in verteron and i can fly nowhere expect where can i fly in the original game too. Why? This isn't freefly. It was so cool in poeta. And much faster. Did i do something wrong? Please let me know!

Is this a problem for everyone, or just for some people ? That is do we all have to modify the file, or is it like that by default ?

 

I also in poeta Only ah and eltnen and reshanta and thebomos

 

i also have this problem i changed the ovr file but still i get the message you are unable to fly in this zone :crying:

 

Guys, just Copy/Past what Smartik1 wrote on the first page to your .ovr file (Delete whatever's in it, and replace it with what he left you on the 1st page) and it works.

 

You can't fly in some zones.
