archon brigade vs enraged masterius cloth set

Stat wise masterius goes above and beyond, however many people get abg. Does that pvp defense really make that much of a difference?

Personally since I like to do a lot of solo pve, I'm getting mastarius set first then abg for when I hopefully have more free time to pvp more often.

 

it depends on you..masta set have higher magic resist and defense than abg..me myself had tried both sets and there are no big difference..For example lets say if you are wearing abg now you might recieve 5 ~ 20 damage less when attacked by a player than masta..but you have lesser resistance against magic and pve

i kinda think masta would be better for sorcs since your not really getting hit often o.o
And if you are hit, your pretty much insta dead even with pvp buff, from my expierence. try an egt set first to see if you think ther is a big diff, because some people dont see it, some do.

 

ABG is definetly the better choice. (The speed is being taken away) Even though mastarius has more m resist, the pvp defense on ABG is undeniable. The set effect also gives you more boost. Since it has 6 extra slots you are also to able to stack more m acc(which for a sm is important).

 

PVE is far from challenging on gamez, it's even so on retail so why waste the resources? ABG is far superior in pvp and thats why we play is to pvp I'd think because the pve content of aion even on retail is laughable. I remember on retail we used to duo most instances healer dps or 2 sins for a challenge. On gamez, partly due to lack of challenge partly due to buggy gamez npc AI most mobs are just fodder. Full abg with the helm you get close to 20% pvp damage reduction, on live you get a default 50 percent reduction, on gamez you don't so if most players run pvp jewelry and weapons with bonus, so you need the reduction to balance things out and make it a even playing field.

I have full masta cloth set for sorc, since i stand back and cast its the better choice for me. Plus i like the look better
