Forum suggestion

Well i have to say one thing

Forum sux! It may have cool looks but subject management sux

I m a proffesional in this area(Librarian) so I will offer a few tips as well as a model forum organisation

Top of all must be all things technichal.So here how it should look like

1)Technichal Forum (Members forbiden to post area)

--Game features(subforums)
- rates
- Supported features etc
-Server Modifications:Infos about skill merchants,itempak,//dye etc

--Updates

--Troubleshooting(Members can post)
-Account
-Connecting
-Ban appeals
-Installation
-Other(GENERAL DISCUSSION AND OTHER SHOULD BE ALWAYS ALWAYS LAST!!!!! you have it first!)

2) Game forum

--PVP
-Siege and raids
-Hall of fame (Discuss, brag, flame-flame is not always bad if doesn t spread in whole site-)
-Report abuse

--PVE
-Instances and raids
-Quests
-Guides
-Bug quests(should be here seperatelly)

--Bug reports
-Missing npc
-Not working feature
-other
--Guides
-Classes(outrageous! if u wanna know something about ur class u must search the whole forum atm!!!)

-Tanker
-Glady
-Sin
-Rng
-Buffer
-Healer
-nuker
-Doter(HOW MANY THREADS nerf fear-buff fear must be made to realise u need a SM section!

3) Community

-Elyos(Notice the last minute seperation to factions! this is important!)

Notice how i put spam sections everywhere! This is to protect the good threads from being swallowed by the spam and the flame monster. Also it s generally best to avoid naming the trash can spam cause ppl will think "hey i mnot spaming my thread is imba". Other or off topic or non fited is more accteptable

All moderators have to do is move the trash threads to where they think best, from there it s easy to clean an maintain

Well the general idea is to PUT SIMILAR THING tightly close

 

CrystalAion should have a forum section for discussion not related to Aion—a general chat of some sort. It would be an intriguing development.

 

Don't forget about Mu ;p

Personally I don't mind the forum layout, but I personally believe there needs to be a dediated section for Gamez-Lumiel, because unless the poster says otherwise it's hard to tell.

Should also remove trade threads from recent posts.


I like the class section idea, been wondering why this is without.

 

I think it was because the administrator first thought that posts would be too spread out in different sections, considering hardly anyone was playing CrystalAion at that time. In other words, it may have been tedious to constantly click in and out of forums to read like "1-2" threads for each class forum. But I agree, a class section now would be great.

 

Another good suggestion that gamez staff is ignoring...

Well if u ignore good suggestions u might as well close the suggestion section overall!!!
