item.pak crash

hey, everytime i try to launch aion it crashes at the blacj screen with the NCSoft logo on it.
this happend after i downloaded the item.pak file on the forum. it works perfectly witch the original aion item.pak after i repaired it. i tried every item.pak that i could find on the forum, and that's alot! i couldnt figure out what's wrong so i decided i asked it here in hope someone has a fix

his reply was on the file that dude posted because no one knew if it was real. but my problem is with every item.pak. even the "official" gamez aion item.pak.

 

yah ... thats why he said " use it on your own risk " means no one tells thats that is a official or not .. its your fault man .. hope one of the admins help you

 

1. Well, use the ncsoft launcher to repair your aion client ( NA ofc ) and download and install Asanka's item.pak [Which is in my signature below.]
2. You might have corrupted your Aion files or the unofficial item pak might've inflicted a virus on your computer, so I suggest running one anti-virus scan, second re-installing Aion once again . Hope this helped .

 

i've tried the first option, didnt work. i'll try the second, hope it works. is it possible it has something to do with the fact i run aion on bootcamp windows xp service pack3 on a macbook pro? i never had problems before. i gave my exact same folder to a friend and with him it works perfectly .. thanks anyway ill post my findings.

when i get home.. ima try to download your asank's item.pak..

so u're sayin i gotta scan 1 pc first.. then repair my aion client... and then install it?

PS: that works for windowns XP?

 

im using windows xp too .. but none of my friends (were it is working) are not. so im gonna update to windows 7 and hope it works then ..

 

i have the same problem, everytime error
if there is no error the items are still untraable
i have tried all the item.paks even the assankas wich is the most poppular but with no effect "untradable items"

 

i cant get it fixed :s i'm gonna reinstall windows and hope it is fixed ..
