What I'm saying is stuns, aerial lockdowns that are from "physical attacks" can't be resisted by Magical Resist.

my ranger is full attack and does well
what worries me atm is the constant people casting through silence godstones
what is the deal with godstones being blocked? and sorcs, sms and clerics continuing to cast through it
if they can be removed should they change the name to well...... semi,demigod stones

godstone activated (random sorc sm or cleric ) just casting through it like nothing happened makes me sad

 

I've played Aion since the closed beta, so don't try no, "I'm more experienced" bullshit on me. I've played templar the entire time I've played Aion. (One of the classes with the most stuns.)
Their are only TWO classes that can truly test and argue on this point. Templars and Chanters, since they are the ONLY two classes with BOTH physical and magical stuns without a doubt.

Templars have Shield Counter, which is a STUN. Provoking Shield Counter, which is a stumble that is 'suppose' to activate on a STUN. Not KNOCKBACK. So Shield bash, which is called a KNOCKBACK not a STUN should not activate it's proc chance for a stumble. Judgement and Divine Justice are both STUNS.

This said, in RETAIL Aion, all three of these control mechanics are separate effects. Because Knockback does not activate Provoking Shield Counters stumble chance. (I know it for a fact, I tested it in retail.) Now, here they are not separate effects. So far as I can tell, ironically. They are all considered stuns.

That said, I've fought Sofea when she was full MR Set before. 2k ish. (And templars have almost NO MAcc). The ONLY stun she resisted was Divine Justice, the magical Stun. Cause she resisted it almost every time. Provoking shield counter, Shield Counter, and Shield Bash were never resisted. (In other words, physical stuns.)

MR Doesn't do shit against physical stuns. There are only two kinds of STUNS. Physical and magical.

If you want baseless info, saying MR resists stuns without any testing or proof is pretty damned baseless if you ask me. If you want stun resist, use some of the jewelry from TLabs. <.<

On that note, on the note of what to slot as a ranger. I've had a friend who slotted all Crit, I floored him every single time. I've had a friend slot attack and HP, he was considerably more difficult to beat, though I still did. (But I'm a temp so. . . <.<)

IMO, full attack or HP and attack.

im full MR and i resist all ranger stun skills glads aether's hold chanter/cleric stun..etc

 

I was full MR on Retail, and i got stun'd all the time, i did resist aether holds and and almost always resisted magic attacks from people with the same gear as me or lower, but i got stun'd all the time
