I'm having some trouble.

Hello GamezAion community.

Let me start off by saying that I am completely new to this game, be it official or private server.

That said, I am having some trouble launching the game.

I have browsed through the forums looking for a fix but to no avail.

I have downloaded and installed Aion via NCsoft launcher and let it update.

I have also downloaded GamezAion launcher and installed it to my Aion folder.

Yet when attempt to open the game, GamezAion launcher crashes.

Perhaps I overlooked the solution.

I am running a gaming rig so I am sure it is not a hardware problem.

Is there some win7 issue I need to know about?

First of all it's a private server of course .

The problem is that you probably do not have to correct no_ip file (d3dx9_38.dll)
To solve this problem you have to browse the website (www.gamezaion.com) fine the file & download it .
If you cannot find it , let me know and I will upload my bin32 for you so you can run the game without any problems .

Ummm yeah ... don't run Aion with NCSoft Launcher ...
Use Gamez Launcher .

 

I am Running with GamezAion launcher.

Skipping the desktop icon....

Start\Computer\C:\ProgramFilesx86\NcSoft\Aion\GamezAion.exe

 

Ummm , maybe you should try repairing your client & using my bin32 afterwards .
Then you put the correct Gamez Launcher in your Aion folder and let's see if it's working ;o

Seems this may be the cause of my problems. Any ideas or will this require a complete fresh install?

 

Well I've completely uninstalled, removed pre-existing folders and registry values. Re downloaded aion, installed, and reinstalled the GamezAion launcher. Same error. Does anyone have a fix for this? I can't seem to troubleshoot this problem.

 

Check for updates using your NCsoft Launcher, I had the saem issue, all I did was update aion to 2.1.0.7

 

What version of Aion do you have? ;o

Updated fully to 2.1.0.7. Still no luck

I've run GamezAion launcher in XP sp3 compat. mode as well as administrator privs.

 

I had the same problem. Try to update your Direct X and everything should be ok

 

How strange. I'll send Smartik1 a PM with your thread. He's something of a computer nerd. Maybe he can help whenever he logs in.

 

Thank you to all who were trying to help. I finally figured it out. Seems I had a corrupted registry value. Once I subbed the value the game started right up. Now all I've got to do is figure the game out.

Well I made an asmo scout but just remade an Elyos Warrior. I do seem to have some server lag or could it be an attack bug?

I can't seem to attack anymore. Full hp/mp.. Just seems like I'm about to dc. No visible display lag though.
