Item.pak problem

Hello! I have a problem ><
I have downloaded 2.1 items.pak file from this thread --> http://forum.gameznetwork.com/showt...ional-info-about-2.1-patch?highlight=item.pak but when I put the file in my folder Aion/Data/USA/items and try to open the game, after the Ncsoft screen, it crash with an error and an "SendLog Client" window...
I have just read the other topic about items.pak but I haven't find a solution...

What should I do? Help please :crying:

 

try to repair the client and then put the files again...also put the 2.0 item.pak

Try a 2.0 pak. I listed all of them here:

When I try to repair the NcSoft give me an error... T.T

Error Code: 58 (FileGroupApplicationErrorRollbackNotAttempted):

Errors occurred while applying the patch,

and a rollback was not attempted.

The product is likely in an inconsistent state and should be repaired or reinstalled.

The patch application errors are as follows:

Error Code: 57 (ErrorRepairingTargetFile):

File could not be repaired: D:\Programmi\NCsoft\Aion\bin32\XRenderD3D9.dll.

I try two time to repair but there is this error enytime

 

Ok, I have repaired and I have put the 2.0 items.pak but I have the same problem ><

 

u guys dont even know what ur talking about lolz the 2.1 items.pak guide is wrong coz some nub with a US client assumes too much

the 2 possible locations r Aion\Data\USA\Items as well as Aion\Data\Items

1 of these 2 will make u crash, if 1 doesnt work, put the old file back (make backups it saves u having to repair) and put it in the other ^^

EU clients need to put it in the Data\Items only

gotta love when gms release wrong guides huh

EDIT:

just a question, did the game run fine be4 that? coz the "XRenderD3D9.dll" error sounds like a directX issue in which case u should download directX 9.0c coz thats the 1 aion runs on

in any case u probably just put the items.pak in the wrong place (coz the guide is wrong)

 

With XRenderD3D9.dll" file I haven't problem now ^^ I play without problem!
When I can, I try with your method for the items.pak! Thanx a lot =)

 

Ehm... I've used your method and I've put the items.pak file in Aion/Data/Items folder. The game work without crash, but the untradable item (like Anu set) are still untradable ><

PS: sorry for my bad english T.T
