Noob area abuse

Hello everyone. I just started playing here today, but there's something that's really bugging me. That is the level of abuse noob elyos areas receive from the asmodians. I mean towns in heiron get completely destroyed, and dare I show my face in abyss all the 55s go after me even though I'm pink named to them. Once I took a teleporter to upper abyss to see if there were mobs that I could fight there, and what happened? As soon as I landed on top, I got 3 shot buy a wtf-ranked asmo ranger. I mean come on, give the new guys a chance to get up so we could actually put up a fight. Do asmos really have such a big d*** syndrome that they have to show it off absolutely any way possible?

 

Come on, if you can't handle it, don't bother going to abyss. There's a reason why abyss is a free PVP zone.

 

both side's do that. ehehe but man just get used to that kind of sh1ts and when you lvl 55 go hunt those who killed you :smile:

 

Right, "can't handle it", good point. I mean it's not like a whole load of quests is in heiron or anything right? And yeah, lvl 30s and 40s in crap gear are supposed to be able to handle 55s in elite abyss sets?

Actually I wasn't the one that nerdraged, it was a friend of mine that almost quit because of that. But no, this isn't working as intended. Last I checked npcs are supposed to actually hurt/kill enemy factions, not be easy mode like they are here. So this part is broken on this server, and should be fixed one way or another.

 

This is just bugging me, did the noob term really became the term for a newb. The term noob or n00b is for someone doing something for sometime and still he's acting like a newbie. Newb or Newbie is the term used for people who are new to doing something, or first timers. I guess through the passing of years the internet terminology noob is slanting towards newb which isn't appropriate. It's an insult to call someone a n00b. If you refer yourself to a newbie, then don't call yourself a n00b for those two terminologies are different, and you're basically degrading yourself.

Back to topic, @OP raiding is part of the game. If you're caught into one, just avoid the map for the meantime, if you're trying to level go to theomobos, or any other place for that matter. Also don't blame the asmos, blame your fellow elyos, because most of them don't care about their fellow racemates, if you shout for help, a few would come, unlike in asmo, if your raid, and there's a lot of you, a couple of war cries from the newbies around will usher a red wall of carnage towards the raiders.

 

They really need to fix those guards everywhere. Game will change a lot than. No more free running and killing all in your sight. That terrain and paths and gates are meant to be like that so you must figure your way to your goal. You just try on retail to come close at fort guards or city guardians, uff, dead in 2 seconds...

 

fps, my advice to you is go to Theobomos, You can go from 20-55 there in a matter of 5 or 6 hours of grinding, maybe less depending on the class/gear, and the best part is, you don't have to stress about getting ganked by Asmo's. As for the quests, if you REALLY wanna do them to get some of the Titles and Quest Reward only items, wait til your 55 and bored out of your mind, they work nicely to pass time Also, PM me in game and I'll help you out with whatever I can, I don't have much..but I'll give you whatever I can to help you move along.


My main char's name that you will find me on 95 percent of the time is Ranjah...give me a shout and we will try and get you set up.

 

Well i'll put it to you this way, this is a high rate pvp server people hit 55 in 2 hours and then go pvp, stay out of pvp zones while leveling if you don't like being killed, go to theobomos and level your way to 55 which would be a lot more relaxing and faster than getting 1-2 shot by geared 55s. When i leveled my characters i didnt even step foot in pvp zones cause i knew what was coming xD

 

that's the way of Aion, get over it.

 

This is precisely my point. Guards were put in the game specifically to give weaker players some kind of a safe ground. Here there is no safety because even legendary level npcs just stand there doing nothing.

But yeah I guess I'll just finish leveling in theobomos. I actually completely forgot about that map because I remember hating it on retail, but I guess at these rates it won't be bad. Then I wonder if being 55 will really make a difference counting that the only way to get AP gear is through pvp.

 

dont forget this is an Privates server with basic Ai and not so advanced as the retail if u want to play safe and stuff just head to theobomos and lvl up fast till 55 and go pvp if u only want pve then this isnt the right server for u

 

Agree with Taelak, Elyos has Safe Zone 40-55 in Theobomos, Asmo In Brustonin....

YOu can do Quest there.. too

 

Agree with taelak and Kirunoru , when you reach 47 you can visit Baltazar hill take the campaign by ( Surt ) to lvl 3 times 47 -50

 

Generally the abyss is fairly safe so long as you stay away from the core and any vulnerable fortresses, that's where I leveled most of my toons. Also if you need a place to level, then there's a reason Theo and Brust don't have rifts.

 

^^~ Don't bother to go to Abyss if you want to lvl, try theobomos if you want to lvl without worrying Asmos r around you ...=)
