Killed while on flight transporter

Earlier I was taking a flight transporter through heiron, and I got killed by a ranger "uia" while on it. How the?

 

omg, what cant ppl invent, explain further, he probably bypassed the no-flyers-hit restriction or smth :[

 

well technically u can still target people and they can target u while ur flying. ur not immortal so it is theoretically possible to kill u.

although i cant imagine how they could get more than 1-2 shots at u at that speed...do u have screenshots or the combat log? curious what their dmg was.

btw u do slow down towards the end when ur about to land, if they r spawn camping there, it could be quite easy

 

No, I didn't take screenshots because i thought they wouldn't prove anything anyway. He started hitting me mid-way through the flight to DP entrance. took the about 30s or so to kill me, so it definitely wasn't at the end of the flight. Couldn't be spawn camping either because there were a bunch of elyos right at the ending.

 

you have a protection while ur on flight, in cancels when you land on the end and you do a little spark. on the other hand i never tried AoE during flight of someone..

 

That ranger was using his normal attacks while I was mid-flight. Wasn't just aoes...

Too bad I crashed about 5 minutes after this happened >.>
