Solution too: d3dx9_38.dll error/ cannot connect to authentication...

So most likely u crashed and tried restarting the game, then it will give you the following message:

Delete - NCSoft/Aion/bin32/d3dx9_38.dll

When you did that and you try to log back into the game u'll get a different message,

Something along the lines of: Cannot connect to the authentication server.

What you do now is, re-download Gamezlauncher into ur Aion folder, and run a repair through ur NCSoft launcher after u've re-downloaded the launcher. Now when u check in ur NCSoft/aion/bin32 folder u'll see d3dx9_38.dll is back.

When you see that file is back you should be ok and be able to run Aion normally again.

Let me add, that i recieved this error from dueling, seeing the duel system is currently bugged and you cant do any skills/stay in duel even though u've relogged etc.
So if you want my advice, stay away from dueling untill its fixed, and if you cant resist and you crash afterwards well heres ur solution. :smile:

 

its better if you swap d3dx9_38.dll in bin32 with newer one + another Dll. That way you'll have less errors.
