I think people should not be put in a category of Best Friend, or whatever. Mostly because its like putting a condition in a behavior... like you are forced to be something for someone else.... its what i think.

But its undeniable that you will know people that will come and go... others will stay with you for a life time... but they will not be there because you "want" them to be your very best friend, but because you gained the trust and loyalty of that person and the same goes for him/her.

A real best friend is the one who wont let you do stupid things alone...

 

I will repeat what Candyman said. Most of you are kids and you would call best friend even a person who would give u all of his ingame items
And I'm NOT saying i'm a smart guy either , i'm just a stupid 19 years old guy... however , i got alot of experience on this subject...

There is no person that will never make u sad , will always make u laugh , will even give his life for u and u can trust him/her with everything...

It would be right to say that you've got many friends but NOT a "Best friend"
every friend has something you like/dislike , no1 is perfect.

As my mother would say , the only friend we can trust in this life is God. It is true , tho it sounds gay.. and well , I don't give a sh!t about religion to be honest.. haha
So NO best friend for me.

 

Ok i will say this that a true real best friend is none other than your pet dog,cat,guinea pig etc etc, these are true friends as they r always there for u never take the bleep, they also listen to you and will always put a smile on your face now thats more than humans can do.

 

No one ever has a true legit "best" friend. They all disappoint us in one way or another. Your only true best friend is your soulmate and your family. They will always stand by you through thick and thin, sickness and in healthy times. Instead the correct term is True friend.

A true friend is someone you can spill your emotions, thoughts or concerns to with a hope they will respond to help you out in going in the right direction. True friends don't backstab you, can keep their mouth shut and support your decision regardless if its dumb, or uncalled for.

I think trying to qualify what a "best" or "true" friend is is in itself flawed.

Better to define what one isn't rather than what one is.

 

Its true. Sadly. If you've known someone long enough, you can help yourself.. Ive known few of my friends long enough to call them my real friends cause I reached that level of real friends to help myself to a glass of milk or soda or water...
