Alright guys, I am trying out all 8 classes, maybe will end up focusing on only 4...but anyway, here's my main question:

I plan to equip all my characters with arm-fusion gear: ABG (main) + Taha (2ndary), for their weapons.
How bad is it compare with the "supposedly best" weapons of all classes? I mean, for PvP ONLY (I don't care about PvE, at all).

    Example:
Supposedly you say "NHDE + ABG = the best spear", but I am going "ABG + Taha".
How far worse is my armfusion compares to yours?

Now, imagine the same example for Bow/Staff/Greatsword/Tome/Jewel.
How far worse is "ABG + Taha" compare to those "what-you-think-is-best" for each weapon?

Assume they are all +15 and slotted with proper manastones.

Because I have at least 6 chars I wanna try out...going ABG+Taha is really the most economical, yet at the same time can give me a "taste". I won't be able to "taste" anything if the difference between AGB+Taha and "The Best" is too far...

    Please help out!

Just in case I need to make careful selection of my weapon, what's the common items that is even worth looking at?
So far, I only know these:
    - Tahabata [Weapon]
    - Archon Brigade General [Weapon]
    - Enraged Mastarius [Weapon]
    - Master Carved [Some material] [Weapon]
    - [Some goddess] Blessed [Weapon]
    - Noble [Some Style] Dragon Emperor [Weapon]

Is that all? Is there anything I missed out?

the best for each weapon is mastarius + abg (in that order) without a question, u can check out the stats of both in the website shop

the general rule is that u should put the one with higher BASE stats (excluding the bonuses under the line) as ur first wep and at least one of the 2 weps should be a pvp bonus one (abg or one of the abyss weps with 8-10 percent pvp dmg)

u can look up the stats of each of the weps u might consider using on aiondatabase.com or aion.yg.com

good luck, hope it helps ^^

EDIT: there is an exception to the rule depending on whether u prefer extendables over higher damage. if thats the case, make the extendable ur primary and abg or another pvp wep as ur secondary

lmfao it's only about 10 attack difference on average from mcd to abg. And a few stats, however it's almost negligible since in this server it's basically when you zerg= you win , when you got zerged= you're screwed. The bonuses are only apparent when you're dueling 1v1.

    Thanks, Smartik1.

I was doing the comparison using the tool in aion.yg.com, but it's kinda impractical (the reason I made this thread asking):

For every weapon, looking at all 6 weapons (according to the list at the end of my first post), only Taha is easily obtainable. The rest are either through item mall, or heavy crafting/gathering (which I am totally not interested in).
In fact, it's pretty obvious that ABG+Taha can't be the best, because those Master Carved [some material] [Weapon] are always highest in base stats compared with the rest.

    Getting Taha costs almost nothing.
Getting the rest costs 2k credit per item.
I think it's much more economical if I just get Taha + a 2k credit item.
Which is why I am interested in exactly what I asked: How far worse is ABG+Taha compare to the best?

If it's quite bad, then I must invest and get up-to-par.
Otherwise, if the difference is negligible in pvp (I am not interested in 1vs1 pvp btw, more interested in group pvp), then I might as well cut-the-cost and make-it-up with skill/strategy.

I can't make proper judgement, because I am completely new to Aion and lacks the experience to tell how much difference those bonus stats can make.

As for extendables...it seems that those are almost impossible to get from the world boss, and the lv30 ones have bad stats...plus, they might be more useful in 1vs1 pvp than group vs group pvp, so I am ignoring extendables.

    So...is ABG+Taha competitive enough?
Or, if I only plan to spend 2k credit, which means it has to be "something"+Taha, which is the best weapon for that "something"?

lmao im using abg + lvl 30 ap wep on my new ely glad since i didnt have an xtra taha spear atm, and all i can say is that it barely makes a diff, i hit as hard as other glads with mcd + abg or masta + abg. i just havent had time to get the taha spear, since ive been busy with real life stuff but its wat im getting for my 2nd slot. Taha is ONLY good as a secondary, since its base stats are not that good but its bonus stats are almost the same as those of masta and mcd, just off by a few points.
