Yeah lol, that kind of scam works good nowdays...it's you'r fault you should have checked the item first. before accepeting the trade.

Nothing shows, that the Guy with the Veille spear, said his Veille spear for the Veille tome/orb.

maybe he was just showing him he have veille spear? and the deal was Taha spear? you never know.
