hmmmm soo many to choose from lol but the first anime that comes to mind is Fate Stay Night

Shirou Emiya lost his parents in a fire when he was young and was later adopted by a sorceror by the name of Kiritsugu Emiya. Although he was full of admiration for his adopted father and yearns to become an ally of justice, Shirou has limited powers and was unable to become a strong sorceror like his father. That is until one fateful day, he was drawn into the Holy Grail War and had to summon a female "Servant" known as Saber in order to protect himself. It turns out that the Holy Grail War involves a series of battles among powerful sorcerors to fight for the possession of a relic that will grant one's wishes, the Holy Grail. There are altogether seven "Masters" who can summon their respective "Servants" from different classes known as Saber, Archer, Rider, Berserker, Lancer, Caster and Assasin. These "Servants" have to hide their names in order not to reveal their weaknesses to the enemies. The story revolves around Shirou and his entanglement in the Holy Grail War.

It was the first anime that ever made me cry.... such a sad ending...

 

I could never ever enjoy any type of anime. But real movies and tv shows are entertaining enough for me ;D

 

a lot of them r lame comedies where u hear background laughter every...15 seconds on average

not my style xD i like animes coz stuff actually happens there, u dont spend half an hour in a single room >.> lol and episodes actually have stuff happening in them

not all serials r the same but thats generally the case lol

I hate dramas ! especially them korean ones....

 

You guys haven't watched anything.... umm the only shows with laugh tracks are sitcoms, so yeah. If you want good comedy, the office and Modern Family are smart and hilarious and subtle, and they don't have laugh tracks.

As for drama, lots of shows have stuff happening in them -.-. 24, the Unit, Lost, Breaking Bad, the Wire, Sopranos, Justified, Dexter.

You can't beat emotionally gritty and realistic shows with strong acting ;D

And movies are often similar. Animes too me are just too fake and unrealistic, and the style is just not my type at all. Not into the unrealistic fighting sequences at all

 

not all anime has fighting in it there r many good ones without fighting xD
