Can't silence people..?

Hello everyone,

lately, I've noticed that when I try to silence someone with my Ranger, SM or Assassin, sometimes it fails, and when I try once again with the same person, it happens the same.

So, the main question of all this is.. Is silence influenced by M. resist? If it's so, all right, but how am I supposed to fail with my SM having 1800 M. Acc against a Sorc with same M. Resist? o_o Could someone explain me this to clear my mind? =.=

err 1.8k m.acc for a SM is really low these days, quite a lot of people run around with full MR sets

and yes its affected by MR

 

u sure they are not potting it? cuz i usually pot those rly quick.. it may seem like it failed to you.

 

can check combat log coz it would say resisted there

 

If your Magic Accuracy is higher than your target's Magic Resist,
you won't get resisted.

So if your Magic Accuracy is the same as target's Magic Resist,
socket more Magic Accuracy manastones.

And yes, your Magic Accuracy is quite low for an SM,
my Cleric would resist you.

but the resist rates are not 100% at least on retail its lower now at 2.1 than the 1.9, and doesnt means that if you got higher resist you will always resist every silence, but will help alot!
