New GAmezAion Launcher With Virus?

I downloaded the launcher the first time I played in the server and the antivirus did not detected any viruses in the installer. Now I try to download the 2.1 launcher and the antivirus (Avast) detect a Win32.Malware-gen and prevents me to download the file. Please verify the installer for viruses, etc. Thanks in advance.

 

same..my anti-virus detected it too..but somehow i couldn't log-in without this new version of launcher >.<
hope this isn't a virus thing..

 

hahahahahaha this is pathetic.. the bugs we had were not enough, now some hacker is banning our IPs and anti-viruses detect the gamez aion launcher as virus haha epicccccccccc..

 

Its not a virus. Carl said its the packer he used that is making anti-virus' go crazy.

 

well good thing to hear..but our anti-virus treat this new version as a virus,it really sucks we need to disable the anti-virus everytime when we log-in..coz the anti-virus won't stop alerting on our screen every now and then..this must be update..

 

Actually, Go into your anti-virus and make it so it accepts the file so you dont have to disable it everytime.

 

yes... add the gamez launcher to your anti-virus exclusions
