Gamez launcher is a trogan/virus?

out of nowhere the game launcher was gone. I tried re downloading it, but bit defender 2011 deleted it as a trojan/virus....

 

False alarm. False alarm....False alarm.

 

yeah yeah its infected, we all know the packer used to turn it into an installer shoved in malware and carl is being incredibly slow and not caring in replacing it

if ur exe got deleted, download this one. its from an older launcher (from like august) that was safe and still works

its not exactly dangerous so if u need to reinstall the gamez launcher, just temporarily turn off ur antivirus, install it, delete the infected gamezaion.exe and download this one

1. i dont get why he replaced a perfectly working launcher with an infected one (he actually replaced the launcher be4 all that IP ban crap just so u know)
2. i dont get why he doesnt put the old one back which is safe and works perfectly fine

Don't you think this is an incredibly important situation? A launcher that is to be downloaded by many users is infected with Trojans and Malware. Shouldn't it be fix asap? or reverted back to the old launcher immediately?

 

Because Carl runs this server, that's why.

 

If you're saying carl is lazy or is not changing the launcher for another personal gain/reason then shouldn't he give the privilege to change the launcher to another capable GM? I think it's stupid not to fix something that big asap. Now people have to dig through forums for that ONE person who will give them the working launcher. (thank you smartkit, again)

2 problems with this.

1. Not going to donate for a server thats half working. He should be prepared to fix things without donations or at least make a thread that is like "Hey, if you all want this crap fixed i need some cash to get it fixed. So start donating" leaving us in the dark about it isn't going to get him or us anywhere.

2. I've donated and i have YET to see something useful done. So until he makes a public announcement asking for more donations/help. I won't be donating til i see him start being productive. Same goes for alot of people. I don't mind helping, but i am not going to if it's not asked for or people sit around doing nothing.

Fix the buggs, i'll donate all I can, that's all I have to say. lol. bugging the game to get people to pay won't do you any good. at all.... The way this game is bugged, I will not be donating.
