Gamez Updater already running?

Hi i got this problem....
when i click my gamezaion icon, it says: "Check your network connection" but i already have a net...
and then when i click the icon again, is says: "Gamez Updater already running"?

what i need to do?

already try reinstalling the new Launcher

I think part of the server is having network issues because the main site is also down.

the main site is back up and the error ur getting is unrelated to server status. the only time u find out if the servers r down is on the login screen, till then everything is running locally from ur pc

there r a few things u can do
1. open ur task manager and kill the gamezaion.exe process (possibly the aion.exe if u have it too)
2. download the older launcher exe that doesnt have the retarded updater - http://www.mediafire.com/?4avh0f2mu4r6oab (might not work)
3. screw the gamez launcher and use the bat file to run the game - http://www.mediafire.com/?xt4uz7efh02i7a3

(put the files in ur aion folder and run there)

 

i kept closing it on my task manager and it wouldnt work so i just restarted my computer and i can log in now...lol i duno what else to do

 

yeah thats the alternative to task manager
i dont have the new launcher so idk if it creates a different process for the gamez updater that ud have to close

tbh i use a launcher from august 2010 (7 months old) and works like a charm. then the nub replaced it with an infected one for no reason which also ended up banning people that tried to login and now he replaced it with one that causes this crap >.>

why cant people learn to follow the good old rule: if it aint broken, dont fix it
