Dear Lautaro.

Allow me to explain why I find what you said hard to comprehend/agree with.

1. Were it the old, catchy [although filled with ridiculous rules and problems] chatbox, I could see how people notice it and start doing the things it was made for them to do.

What the hell is this?



It doesn't stand out. Hell, it wasn't even bolded so people could pay equal attention to it as the other 2 sections, of which the "What's New" section is hardly used [Because the Top 10 Stats box already took that position]

I understand that people asked for a new chatbox because of how problematic the old one was, but this? I'd rather go back to the old one.

2. Because of number 1, how many people do you think will go there and ask for support? 0. I've just been in there, and I don't see a single newbie online, just all the familiar faces. It was awfully noob-vacant.

3. I used to believe in Search Boxes. Not anymore. Why?



Not even relevant to my question. Am I going to sit there and browse every single page? Sure I would, if I were a computer junkie with sushi and Coke next to my hand...oh wait there is sushi and Coke next to me.

4. I find it hard for us to find our threads in a sea of Hot Spam and Trading posts [some of which were contributed by me, I realize] In rare occasion, people will try and answer me [like Smartik, Ariall, Asanka (Lord of the RageInvokers) me, me and me], but mostly they go unnoticed/trolled.

You see, leaders are supposed to show up whenever people need you, to ask what's wrong and fix it according to their request, and most importantly, to be reasonable.

Showing up in a thread only once, not giving any suggestions but a vague description of what you have to offer, and closing the thread immediately after?












TL;DR: I notice that people love to go to Hot Spam. Putting this in General = Ignore Request.

Also, I haven't even started on the retarded sig rules. Probably shouldn't.​

 

dont bother. everytime i try to suggest some realy helpful thing to server its comes to infractions or something else. and i would be not suprised if u will receive an infration after u posted this.

anyway about chatbox its not even working, and i actually till u didnt posted-showed that chatbox icon i didnt saw its even exist , error i got :

besides that, what do we need 9 chat channels for in a chatbox that people cant even find? the chances of them running into each other r pretty slim

can u trash the 5 support channels? most people just ask in normal chat and get an answer there coz thats where everyone is. nobody feels like constnatly swapping through 5 different support channels just in case somebody posted somewhere in there

id keep 1 support channel at most where people can leave a msg for a gm and the gm can pm them later when they see it (coz its no surprise the person aint gonna wait around for hours)

 

Healthy criticism should be in feedback/suggestions section instead of hot spam imo. ^^

And other 1 i didnt like was.. That the period we had that channel all Gms were online on forum and noone in game... they were w8ing here for people to report and noone was online to take care the Duppers and scammers!!

 

Wasn't THAT healthy with the part I mentioned about Lautaro.

Besides, it's gonna get closed for either no reason or for a VERY irrelevant reason served with a butthurt and "not willing to change" attitude from You-know-who.

I didn't even notice that there WAS a Chatbox. Forum servers goes down, and when it was back up poof! Chatbox's gone. And then I noticed the tab. Everything changed.

Nvm, someone did it for me. Thanks to whoever did.

 

1 & 2:
The chatbox is an "extra" of the forums, just for those who want to have nice time talking with other people, answering questions etc.. That's why I don't focus too much attention to the chatbox. Someone who gets into the forum and uses it daily can easily see the navbar link to the chatbox.

3 & 4:
I've just disabled the hot spam thread from appearing on the search results ( new threads ) and now I'm performing a rebuild of the forum search index, that should make the old posts to not show on search results anymore, hopefully you will get better search results.

and about the signatures you mentioned, do you really need more than 250 PX for a signature? I mean, you don't need to have a whole desktop wallpaper there, a small image and some text is more than enough.

 

I'm not having any problems with the chatbox link, please make sure you're getting on "http/204.93.174.111/chat/index.php" or try using other browsers ( i really don't believe the browser will be the problem ).

The only reason someone gets infracted/banned is for not following the rules.

the chatbox, is not working with opera at all tho. tryed with others worked.
