One Fatal Problem

A window saying :"Failed to initialize the game. --The system cannot find the path specified." pops up every time I launch the game. I just installed items.pak and system.ovr

if he didnt run the game be4, it could also be something else (somebody had the issue few days ago)

make sure that when u install the gamez launcher, u install it into ur aion folder and not anywhere outside it
also u can run ncsoft launcher, right click aion -> properties and browse for the Aion\bin32\aion.bin file since sometimes its not linked properly

otherwise yeah if u ran the game fine be4 then its the items.pak in the wrong place. also asankas one doesnt work for everybody (EU client people had issues with it often) so u can try the 2.0 one if u cant get the 2.1 to run

tested with 2.0 and it works just as well

 

"The system cannot find the path specified" error often occurs if there are some special symbols in path to game (like characters unique to your language), try to move aion to another folder (for example cgames/aion) so there are only english letters in path.
