Suggestion for trading to avoid Scammers/Dupers

Greetings Everyone,


I would like to suggest at least for the mean time about the problems in our trading system with regards to scammers/dupers. I just got an idea that if any instances that GM' s (if its ok for them) that are online in the game will be giving his fix location and schedule for trading for at least he/she will become or serves as a witness or a mediator of an on going trading specially if the traders have doubts of each others items. As you can see many of us now are afraid to trade because of the dupers if you know what I mean. Maybe this way we can at least minimize the scamming. Instead of recording some videos and SS of the trade w/o even having an assurance that the items will be back.

This is just my suggestion and opinion for the game and hope you get my point. I am just really concerned about what is happening to the game specially in trading. we don't even have a remedy yet for the problems specially hacks and bugs and now we get another one problem. Hope this will not get worse and at least we can still avoid and minimize this kind of problem.

 

gms stopped being middlemen in the trading process long ago.

 

best thing is dont trade nothing at all, so dupers will just die. keep ur items safe, do proofs if need and wait till this shit will be done.

 

i see. so they're tired for having that job i guess.if they couldn't do their job that make sense.

well that's for the traders to decide. but this is sad that we couldn't do anything if this is the case. In my perception, we're the only players in this game, so if they couldn't find a solution then maybe at least we can.

If you see any GM online in //gmlist, we'll (almost) all be willing to witness a trade for you, unless we're busy. I do it whenever somebody asks.

 

maybe, but i think in this game this type of trading system is fixed since this is the format that they started. i don't know if they could implement like what you have said. For me this games trading system is not too bad, but there are also some disadvantages when it comes to a situation like scam/dupers etc. since there are no evidence like a "link to the account or some sort" that automatically informs us. Basically the problems will always be at the players itself and the admins.

 

well, that will be a problem also sir since we couldn't always know if the GM is not busy. So I did suggest an idea that GMs will put a schedule for the trading purposes only and not for the other case. and just for whom ever ask. i mean that will be a new task if that's ok for the admins.
