Cleric Questions

So my first question is, what manastones do cleric need to stack? some say MR some say HP. ATM im using MR which seems to work well alot but im still unsure.

 

I use a full mr build. Some however use mr/hp both.

 

also depends on the set u use as a cleric, if u go for cloth or chain. chain has much higher base MR

 

Honestly I dont know why a cleric would go for cloth unless they need MP or something. Even then that doesnt make sense when its so easy to restore your mp with the various pots and skills.

 

It all depends on your playstyle.

Full MR is ok, but Melees will destroy you easily. Its a nice build for group PvP. Also useable for solo PvP.
Full MR but mace/shield with Block is a more suitable build for solo PvP.
Full MR with HP on 2 pieces will give you a bit more survivality, but i think block is better.
Full MR with Magic Boost on staff is awesome for 1vs1 and small enconuters.
Full HP is a PvE build.
Block with HP, same, PvE
I like Mboost with some HP. You will hit hard, but you will die fast too.

you need have 3 sets.

as example:

1.abg chain for mr vs sorcs,sm
2.abg chain for block vs meele class
3.abg cloth for mboost sometimes needed vs all class for dmg.

 

I know people from retail who used APP gloves for the cast speed because chain only has attack speed on it

 

i'd say.. that depends on whats ur main purpose is

supporting, Full MR or MR combined with some Block if u dont wanna stay in the back
killing, use MAcc on some sets that have MB bonus stats
abit of both, MR & HP.. i recommend lvl 55 Cloth type, basically 'cause of the 8% casting spd

combine MR and Block becoz you'll be able to resist spells and with block you'll be able to minimize physical dmgs received...

 

If you're ABG chain I'd go full MR. and if you have the extra cloth gloves I'd have those on a quickslot as a quick swap to cast spells faster.

 

nope - mr dun help u against a sm , and againns a sorc ... nah ..(well depends how ''retarded'' is the sorc...) - maybe it will help u a bit i think.... , but mr will help u in specialy against other cleric in special and males ( temp , renger , sin , glad , chanter - will protect u against stuns , silence , bound etc...) - PS - is the best build - mr one

 

I got a 2.3k MRes Cleric, with the Lightning Stigma tree.

I survive a long time in group pvp, but I die pretty fast in 1v1's.

Sorcs got Macc buff.
SM's, smart people stack MAcc, still are able to fear me. And fear+silence = lose.

For the other classes it's easy to beat them, kite them arond and summon your awesome servants.
