Can not access Launcher

I have installed Aion, and then downloaded the launcher. When I click on the icon for the launcher I get a message that says

"Unhandled exception has occurred in your application. If you click Continue, the application will ignore this error and attempt to continue. If you click Quit, the application will close immediately.

Assess to the path 'C:\Program Files (x86)\NCsoft\Aion\System.ovr' is denied."

If I click Continue the launcher will not load anything, not allowing me to play the game.

The only way I am able to play the game is if I reinstall the launcher each time. This is something that I know should not have to be done to play Aion.

Help on getting this fixed would be greatly appreciated.

 

redownload laucher, and try to add aion folder to ur anti virus exception list. its happends becoz its getting fail on update, only way it is becoz anti virus block it i guess.

 

I have redownloaded the launch 3 times now, and the anti virus does not seem to be blocking it at all.

 

well its getting an error when laucher trying to update, ur system.ovr ... mhm try download mine system.ovr replace urs and try again.

P.S are you sure you installed ur laucher to right location becoz its looks like ur laucher is installed C:\Program Files (x86)\NCsoft\Aion\ . when im kinda sure game is installed on C:\Program Files \NCsoft\Aion\

 

I had put it in the game folder, thinking that I had to.

Right after I click the launcher that message comes up.

 

mhm , make ss of location where did you installed gamezaion laucher.

 

I installed it on my desktop, then moved the folder to the game folder.

 

now its ok or not? if not just installed to C:\Program Files\NCsoft\Aion\ or there game is located. something is wrong with ur laucher or locations where did u installed, or just something blocks update process, would be more clear if u would do some ss or something.

 

Still the same issue. It wont load the ss of the error message, puts up an error 406. It is saved as a .jpg file.

 

After I do the whole, reinstall then play game, when I exit the game I get a message that says

" This Program might not have installed correctly
If this program didn't install correctly, try reinstalling using settings that are compatible with this version of Windows.
Program: Gamez Aion Installer
Publisher: Gamez Aion Installer
Location: c:\Users\Cheza\Desktop\Gamez Aion Installer.exe

Reinstall using recommended settings

images you trying to post is bad, post direct link of images, also just try open laucher again.

 

The first error message I get, when following the instructions on the site, and the recommended settings is --> View attachment 3865



After I close the game, when I do get it open by reinstalling and going in that way, I get this message below. Also, when it installed it to my desktop instead of the Aion folder, I get this error message --> View attachment 3864

Those are the messages I am getting.


P.S. Had to use the basic loader for images to work.

you update-download microsoft framework.

try reinstalling your .net framework and/or running your client/launcher in admin mode
Edit: His client is in "C:\Program Files (x86)\NCsoft\Aion\" because he's using a 64-bit OS. 64-bit programs go to "C:\Program Files\" while 32-bit programs go to "C:\Program Files (x86)\"

 

it's not the framework.. this unhandled exceptions appear when you don't think as you should... the program try to do something that can't or don't exist (on Visual Studio).

you can try this Launcher
This is what i'm using and works perfect!

just download it copy/paste it to your Desktop and run it.
the first time that you will run it you have to locate the aion.bin (or if you paste it into the aion folder it will not ask to locate nothing)

Edit: the net.framework pop-up cuz application made by visual studio require net.framework to run!

 

Thank you, that was the problem. After getting the framework, and also the Admin, I am able to run it now.
